- Deputation of staff in and
outside the country on foreign service and settlement of
their terms and conditions of appointment.
- Framing of Recruitment Rules
for the professional staff, incorporation of amendments
/ alterations, etc. in these Rules.
- Periodical returns relating
to disciplinary cases, vacant posts etc.
- Processing of disciplinary
cases, Courts and Wafaqi Mohtasib cases etc.
- Administrative and financial
matters of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education
and Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO.
- Administrative matters /
budget of Education Division, Washington and Quaid-e-Azam
Students Hostel, London.
- Pension cases.
- Review cases of BPS 1-22
employees under Section 13 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973.
- Processing of release of
funds and reconciliation of expenditure.
- Public Accounts Committee,
Departmental Accounts Committee, Audit observations and
Internal Audits.
- Preparation of budget of
Main Ministry, re-appropriation proposals, maintenance of
appropriations accounts and coordination with AGPR.
